A monthly songwriter showcase curated and hosted by Kyle J. Glenn, presented in partnership with Artichoke Music and Portland Songwriters Guild.

The Bridge is a monthly Portland songwriter showcase for artists who are new to songwriting, new to performing, returning to the stage, or new to Portland. Through live performances and onstage interviews, songwriters share original music and connect with an attentive audience in a welcoming listening-room environment.

Each show features a thoughtfully curated lineup of songwriters sharing original work in a focused, attentive environment. Between songs, artists offer insight into their craft—inviting the audience into the stories, choices, and moments that shaped each piece.

This is not an open mic. Every performance is carefully vetted for quality and readiness, ensuring a cohesive, high-caliber experience from start to finish.

The result is something deeper than a typical live show: a space where songs are truly heard, and where connection between artist, audience, and the work itself takes center stage.

All performances are professionally recorded, giving songwriters valuable assets to support their growth beyond the stage.

This all ages show happens every first Thursday at Artichoke Music in SE Portland. Tickets are $10 and are encouraged to be purchased in advance.
