Smiling Strange is the project of Portland musician Kyle Rosse that blends slowcore, noise and improvisation, exploring the contrast between minimalism and maximalism in his work.

Earthware is an indie pop project from Georgia-born Eli Wheeler. Now a Portland native, he makes happy-sad songs inspired equally by 60s baroque pop, 80s sophistipop, Nintendo soundtracks, and contemporary indie artists such as Kings of Convenience and The Clientele. The live experience is a friendly, family affair consisting of Eli (guitar/vox), Zack Bauer (guitar), Zoe Larsen (keys/vox), Ayla Stabile (keys/vox), Noah Gagliano (bass), and Josh Wiggers (drums).

Varied Terrain
Varied Terrain is an experimental music duo of Emmet Martin and Dylan M. Howe. Their music traverses the boundaries between free improvisation, electroacoustic noise, and psychedelic drone, always embracing the spirit of collaboration and spontaneity. Their first self-titled album was released in February 2026 on Moon Villain.
